Project Description
Our client wanted to perform a review of their proposed Customer MDM logical data model to ensure it met the known requirements of their MDM project. They also wanted to confirm with the vendor (IBM) that the model adheres to best practices and avoids any customisations that would impact future upgrades.
What we did
- Definition of end-state Customer Master Data Management architecture supporting omni-channel transformation
- Developed the Customer conceptual data model and high- level business glossary
- Developed RFI business requirements, criteria and evaluation model for tool selection
Outcomes delivered
- Target architecture and roadmap for Customer Master Data Management informing strategic initiatives
- Common understanding of Customer data scope and understanding of business processes, IT systems and data flows impacting Customer data
- Model for gap analysis between current state and required target state, and decision framework for selecting vendor tool
