Project Description

Our client wanted to perform a  review of their proposed Customer MDM logical data model to ensure it met the known requirements of their MDM project​. They also wanted to confirm with the vendor (IBM) that the model adheres to best practices and avoids any customisations that would impact future upgrades​.

What we did

  • Definition of end-state Customer Master Data Management architecture supporting omni-channel transformation
  • Developed the Customer conceptual data model and high- level business glossary
  • Developed RFI business requirements, criteria and evaluation model for tool selection

Outcomes delivered

  • Target architecture and roadmap for Customer Master Data Management informing strategic initiatives
  • Common understanding of Customer data scope and understanding of business processes, IT systems and data flows impacting Customer data
  • Model for gap analysis between current state and required target state, and decision framework for selecting vendor tool
