What We Did

  • Define the way the business should be structured to best deliver its services, taking into account agile ways of working, and the collaboration and integration required across IT service lines in order to meet business and customer needs
  • Develop an IT sourcing strategy that defines capabilities that should be owned versus outsourced and associated impact on existing service provide landscape
  • Define a common view of the enterprise wide target operating model to act as a guide and provide boundaries within which the inflight IT strategic initiatives that impact op model should implement
  • Define a ‘two speed’ operating model to accommodate the fast pace and capability uplift required to manage the growth platform versus the steady pace and cost efficiencies to manage the value platform

Outcomes Delivered

  • Delivery of a fit-for-purpose IT Operating Model, developed through broad consultation with IT leaders and endorsed by the CIO
  • Definition of IT organisation structure, including decision rights and accountabilities
  • Recommendations resulting in re-structure of IT portfolios to better align to the clients changing business (e.g. implementation of central Run function)
